Terramia Estate is a mountain glamping retreat in Minca, in Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Surrounded by forest, with views towards the Caribbean Sea and the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta, it offers a peaceful setting to relax, enjoy privacy and reconnect with nature. Its geodesic domes, known as “nests”, combine distinctive designs with the comforts of a mountain getaway. Each accommodation features an equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, a terrace and a private hot tub. Views, layouts and capacities vary between nests, with options for couples, families and friends. Nido Inca Coliblanco offers an intimate atmosphere overlooking the sea and coastal wetland. Nido Trogón Enmascarado provides a retreat surrounded by forest, while Nido Tucán del Caribe features two bedrooms and spaces to enjoy together. Guests can prepare their own meals or arrange breakfast and dinner in advance, served directly in their accommodation. Coffee grown on the estate and local flavours complement a stay designed to be enjoyed at an unhurried pace. The surrounding region offers opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, coffee plantation visits and waterfall excursions. Guests can also spend the day relaxing in their hot tub, enjoying the terrace or admiring the changing mountain scenery. With its mountain location and limited connectivity, Terramia Estate encourages a break from everyday distractions. It is a place to breathe fresh air, share meaningful moments and discover the tranquillity of a private retreat in the Sierra Nevada.
Ciudad Equidad is a lively neighborhood with a strong local community feel. While it may not be the quietest area, it offers good amenities for families and a vibrant cultural atmosphere.
