Welcome to Oleander’s Garden Traditional Cottage. Our story begins between 1984 and 1986, when Michalis Daskalakis envisioned creating a traditional retreat by radically renovating an old olive oil factory. The complex is nestled in a privileged location in southeastern Crete, between the settlements of Ferma and Koutsunari, just 9 km from the city of Ierapetra. Starting with just six rooms, the property expanded gradually over the years and today features 18 fully equipped guest rooms, all in perfect harmony with traditional Cretan architecture. The layout of the buildings respects the natural topography of the area and the neighboring gorge, offering direct access to the trail leading to the Milonas Waterfall (1. 5 km). Situated just a 10-minute walk from the beach and the ancient archaeological site of the Minoan Water Tanks, the property offers an earthly paradise of tranquility. The radical renovation of 2020 by the new management modernized the infrastructure according to the highest standards of comfort, while meticulously preserving the authenticity, original furniture, and historical identity of the estate.
