The beach moves with pronounced high and low tides through the day constantly reshaping the shoreline. The sunsets are what make this place unforgettable, Perfectly positioned for some of the most beautiful sunsets on the island, the sky turns through gold, orange, and pink over the sea, right in front of you. The beach here is public and shared with local visitors. It stays peaceful and far less crowded than Zanzibar’s busier beaches, but the beach itself is not private. Heritage Sunset Retreat has its own on-site kitchen/Restaurant, in which the restaurant operates only after orders confirmation from clients, we ask guests to place meal requests at least a day in advance. So you can enjoy freshly prepared meals without leaving the property: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can all be arranged at an additional charge. Everything is cooked fresh, to order, which gives our team time to source the best local ingredients. We’re happy to share our menu and pricing so you can plan and choose ahead. Each villa comes with it's fully equipped kitchen giving options to clients who want to cook on their own. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance of the retreat. The nearest dining, supermarkets and shopping are in Nungwi and Kendwa, about a 15-minute drive away, two lively beach towns full of restaurants, beach bars, cafés, water sports, and nightlife.
