Vogafjós Farm Resort is a family run guesthouse, warm and cosy, a total of 24 rooms. The guesthouse is located in Vogar farmland and surrounded by lava formations and birch trees. It is a perfect location to experience all the wonders of Mývatn area. A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjós Restaurant, in our cowshed café just a 3-minute walk from the guesthouse. While enjoying your meal you can experience the great view of lake Mývatn or watch through a glass window when the cows are milked. Guests are also allowed to go inside the cowshed to pet the calves and try the fresh milk. Vogafjós Farm Restaurant is a "farm to table" restaurant and offers homemade local food such as Geysir bread and smoked trout, lamb shank, beef burger, mozzarella and salad cheese made from Vogafjós farm's own milk.
