Hotel zur Post in Wermelskirchen The traditional “Hotel zur Post” was built in 1847 by Johann Wilhelm Sichelschmidt and has a rich history of more than 170 years. In the past, the building housed a post office, which for over 75 years served as the central point for all postal matters. Alongside the postal operations, a restaurant was already being run at that time, and accommodation was offered to guests. We have brought our hotel up to the latest technical standards. What’s new: 24-hour online bookings and reservations From now on, you can book rooms with us at any time of the day or night. We use a new booking system that provides you with a PIN lock code for your room upon reservation. This allows you to access your room independently of the reception, at any time. The PIN code you receive when booking is valid for the entire duration of your stay and also serves as your room key. Pets are warmly welcome in our hotel.
