Formerly the Aquarius Rarotonga Hotel, the Islander Hotel changed ownership and management on the 1st May 2014 and began a journey of redevelopment, restyling and rebranding to create a unique boutique hotel that captures the bygone era of surfing, maitai's and the beach boys, fused with modern day technology and amenities.
